As many of you have probably heard we lost a great friend and disc golfer last week. Larry Sterba was our first offical club member and did a lot of great things for our club. He will be truely missed. His funural will be this Wednesday Dec 14 at 7pm at Shikany's Funural Home at 28300 S Tamiami Trail, Bonita Springs FL. The club has sent flowers from all members and the family has asked that donations be made to the Harry Chapin Food Bank. We will be working on having a tournament in his honor and also putting up a memorial for him at the courses.

This is Steve, Larry's brother. Thanks to Joel and everyone from swfdga who came to Larry's memorial service. Frisbee friends from all over Florida came by and there were frisbees in the flowers. Thank you for the flowers as well. Joel has the frisbee hole from Larry's backyard and a bunch of Larry's discs. Throw them proudly. I would be interested in helping with a annual memorial tourney for Larry, if you guys are up for it.
